The government procurement portal is the first experience of its kind in the Middle East, as the portal offers a technological solution that provides transparency and ensures ease of handling. The portal provides many services, mainly directed to suppliers and officials of purchasing departments in (ministries and government agencies) who offer purchasing / bidding processes and receive financial and technical offers from suppliers. Then suppliers submit their offers and prices, the evaluation process is completed, and purchasing officials choose one of these offers. The portal is the fruit of serious cooperation between the Ministry of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform and the General Authority for Governmental Services, as it was designed to help the government to publish operations online in all areas. The portal facilitates suppliers and others to submit offers electronically to be evaluated, which increases transparency and ensures non-tampering and ease of performance and work
